Birding in Concord, MA with Ian

It was important to Ian to find this bird, so I drove the half hour to Concord and Ian found it in about 5 minutes with his scope. Friday, August 8th.
Beautiful view from the top of the observation tower.

Climbing up the tower to get a better view.

Ian finds the rarely seen this time of year Common Moorhen.

Panorama I made in Adobe Elements from 4 photographs.

The Moorhen was here, about half a mile away.

Listening for birds.

Lovely rain for the garden.

Bit of sunshine inside.

Dishes all done until the next time we're hungry.

Mushrooms! Boletes aplenty.

Chickpea, kale, eggplant casserole that no one ate.

Our find at the nursery, 6 large healthyplants for $10.
